Zimbabwe records its First Coronavirus (COVID-19) Death

Zimbabwe has recorded its first COVID-19 death.

Zororo Makamba, the son of telecommunications giant James Makamba has passed on after succumbing to coronavirus.

The Makamba family friend Mutumwa Mawere confirmed the incident on Monday.

 


Zororo was one of the two people that were officially confirmed to have contracted the deadly COVID-19 disease in Zimbabwe after he had travelled to the New York.
