Two more people have tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19. The two latest cases, both from Harare comprise of two 21-year-old males who flew to England on undisclosed dates. The Ministry of Health reported this in a daily COVID-19 update which indicates in part:
Globally, more than 1.5 million validated cases of COVID-19 and about 100,000 deaths have been reported to date.
The Ministry would like to state that today, the National Microbiology Reference Laboratory tested 25 samples. Two of these tested positive for COVID-19.
Therefore, to date, Zimbabwe has thirteen confirmed cases of COVID-19, including three deaths.
Three deaths have been recorded since Zimbabwe announced its first COVID-19 case on 21 March and verified cases are now 13.
