FIVE NEW CASES OF #COVID19 – BOTSWANA

 

Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Lemogang Kwape says Botswana has recorded five new cases of people who tested positive for Covid19, bringing the total number of reported cases to 20.

The new cases are two males, one 53 year old and the other 30 years old, who had travelled to the United Kingdom. The other three are a 35 year old man, and two females of 32 and 30 years old respectively who are contacts of persons who tested positive before.

He said this also brings the total number of local transmission to six from the previous three.

Minister Kwape said at the moment statistics of Covid19 tests stands as follows:

Collected samples: 4547
Tested: 4432
Negative: 4414
Positive: 20
